Wow, so a guy was talking to me, and I about fell asleep. This happens every time he talks. It’s just boring, uninteresting, and I want to end the conversation as soon as possible. And if he’s boring the heck out of me, then I KNOW he’s boring the hell out of girls. Here are a few pointers on how to make your conversations bearable:

Monotone talk is only good for one situation: when the two of you are being very intimate and you’re trading little tit for tat words here and there. Extended monotone voice talk is very boring and sleep inducing.

Some of you guys have serious speech impediments. It’s like you’re trying to force out words before fully pronouncing them. Take your time and talk. It’s better to spit out words of quality then to sound sloppy and drunk. It's one thing to just speak a certain way, but it's another to fuck up every word that leaves your mouth. I swear, some of you sound like Daffy Duck when you talk.

Speaking of spitting, don’t do it. If you slow down your speech, you won’t spit. A girl actually said that one of you guys spit in her eye when you were talking to her. Do yourself a favor, talk slow, and make sure you aren’t spitting on her. If you have her attention, then you have her attention.

I’ve been over this over and over again. Learn how to animate your words by emphasizing certain words and animating. I already gave one example earlier, but another example is when I was out last night talking to the girl we brought home with us, and I told a story and animated how I fell flat on my face in front of everyone. If you’re having trouble with this, then I seriously suggest that you go take a few improv acting classes like I did back in high school.

It’s OK to be the one doing the most talking, but you want to make sure that you are involving everyone in the conversation. Look at everyone and ask questions that allow you to lead into where you want to take the conversation next. For instance, during that dancing story, I asked ‘You guys have seen when two guys are dance battling in a nightclub, right?’. No matter how they answer, it gets them involved and allows me to go into the next portion of my story that I want to tell.

Now I know how those women feel that have a million men approaching them with the same lines and questions. A lot of guys talk to me, and I absolutely HATE it when guys come at me with the same redundant shit that I’ve heard a million times before. It just makes me want to end the conversation as soon as possible. Avoid being redundant at all costs.
